Here we are, in what we thought would be the end of a rough era, and personally I am still hopeful it is. One of the hardest things about the pandemic has been the distance from loved ones and challenges that come with travelling to see them. I knew it would be especially tough on this family who are Canadians living in NYC. As a Canadian myself, and a mom of three littles, it's hard right now. We all miss our Canadian families.
When I knew I would be photographing the new baby boys, I thought a documentary, life-style session would have more meaning during this uncertain time. I hope I achieved that for everyone waiting to meet these sweet twins.
For all the missing loved ones, I hope the pictures and video fill a void in some small way. I know you still are longing to hold these babies and see the new, wonderful parents. I have faith this will happen for everyone soon. Until then, I hope you enjoy these.
