Petite Personality Portraits

I have a confession: I don't buy my kids school pictures. I know, I know, It's pictures of my kids, the loves of my life, and I pass. I order their class pictures because I want them to remember their classmates. I also get their yearbook at the end of the school year, so we do have a copy of their cheesy portrait with a blue background.

Here's the thing; I want to remember them the way they actually are. I want to put their portraits on the wall, not stuff them in a drawer. As someone who is trying to be less wasteful and more purposeful with my possessions, I can't do it.

How do you feel about it? Do you purchase school pics?

I'll tell you a little secret; I am going to be offering Petite Personality Portraits sessions next month! If you home-school, have a pre-schooler, or are like me and instead only purchase portraits you LOVE, click the link in my bio for info on these limited session offerings!

On a side note, can we chuckle at the phase when kids are too small for their teeth? haha

A note from Ashley

Hello and thank you so much for checking out my work! I hope you enjoyed the images from my latest Petite Personality Session!

I have a beautifully simple and bright studio in Westbrook Connecticut, but I also travel to my client’s homes or meet families on location to create beautiful artwork from their images.

If you want to see more of my work, please browse the Gallery of Work tab and mention your favorites.

As a mom of three boys, I know these moments are fleeting. Photography is the only way to capture these moments in time and that’s my ultimate goal with my clients. The portraits of my children are priceless.

If you would like more information about a session, please fill out the contact form on my website and I will personally email or text you back within two business days. My studio is a short drive for anyone living in Hartford, Middlesex, New London, or New Haven Counties. I also travel throughout the state of Connecticut and Rhode Island.
