Maternity Photography CT

This was almost a first for me. Most moms-to-be seem to gravitate toward outdoor sessions and I totally understand why.

When I opened my studio this summer, I knew I wanted to document all stages of motherhood in this special space.

Carissa was the first maternity session and I am thrilled with how it turned out. It doesn't hurt that just a day before this session I upgraded my camera and this session really gave me an opportunity to be creative.

I also have to give credit to my amazing hair and makeup artist from Salon Belle Vie, which is located just a few minutes from my studio next to the Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook. Emily is incredible! She usually meets my clients at my studio to make it really convenient for them.

All of the wardrobe used in the session is from my client closet, which is available for every client to use at their session.

If you are expecting, you don't have to worry about getting yourself ready for your session. You also don't need to invest in dresses or pretty maternity clothes that you probably will never wear again. I have so many options for you to choose from and Carissa couldn't decide, so we photographed ALL of her favorites!

A Note from Ashley

Hello and thank you so much for checking out my work! I hope you enjoyed the images from my latest studio maternity session in Connecticut!

I have a beautifully simple and bright studio in Westbrook Connecticut, but also travel to my client’s homes or meet families on location to create beautiful artwork from their images.

If you would like to see more of my work, please browse the Gallery of Work tab and make sure to mention your favorites.

As a mom of three boys, I know that these moments are fleeting. Photography is the only way to capture these moments in time and that’s my ultimate goal with my clients. The portraits of my children are priceless.

If you would like more information about a session, please fill out the contact form on my website and I will personally email or text you back within two business days.
